About Us

In 1932, the Frederick Cafasso Funeral Home was established and founded by Frederick Cafasso in Everett, Massachusetts. In the 1940's, he decided to open a second funeral home in Wakefield. This facility remained open until the late 1950's. His vision was to create a well-known family business.
Mr. Cafasso devoted all of his time to serving the community and making the business a success. He worked tirelessly, up until his untimely death in March of 1977, at the age of 81 years. His legacy has been continued by his son, Frederick E. Cafasso, who to this day operates the family business, with his sons, Frederick E. Cafasso, Jr. and Joseph W. Cafasso, known now as the Frederick Cafasso & Sons, Inc. Funeral Home, with the utmost care and concern for all of those at their most difficult times.
For over 85 years, the Cafasso Funeral Home has been a landmark for its meticulous landscaping and picturesque setting. The family-operated funeral home serves all faiths, cultures, and ethnic backgrounds with dignity and compassion.
