GRIFFIN, William F. "Bill" of Everett, entered into rest at home, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 24, 2016. He was 83 years old. Born in Boston, Bill lived in Everett for most of his life. He was retired from the United States Postal Service having worked as a letter carrier for many years. Beloved husband of Teresa (Anastasia) for over 55 years. Dear and devoted father of Laurine Gallagher and her husband, Bernard of Revere, Sheila Filiault and her husband, Mark of Durham, CT and Pamela Griffin of Melrose. Brother of the late Phil Griffin and his surviving wife, Janet Griffin of East Lyme, CT. Loving grandfather of Jamie and Julia Filiault. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Bill's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Wednesday, July 27 from 4-8 p.m. His funeral will be from the funeral home Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by his funeral Mass in the Sacred Hearts Church, 315 Main St. Malden, at 10 a.m. Interment, with Military Honors, Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
