MURPHY, Virginia Jean (Nicotera) of Lantana, Florida entered into rest on Sunday, April 28, 2019 in the Atria Senior Living in Florida.  She was 88 years old.  Jean was born in Revere and lived in Florida for many years.  She was a secretary by profession.  The loving daughter of the late Agazio and Antoinette (Voci) Nicotera.  Beloved wife of the late Paul V. Murphy.  Loving sister of Albert Nicotera and predeceased by many siblings.  Jean is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and great grandnieces and great grandnephews.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jean's funeral Mass in St. Anthony's Church, 38 Oakes Street, Everett, Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1 p.m.
