DORNER, Vilmar of North Reading, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 6, 2026 after a tragic boating accident while fishing on the waters of Newburyport and Salisbury.  He was 49 years old.  Born in Guaira, Parana, Brazil, Vilmar lived in the North Reading area.  He worked for many years as an automobile mechanic.

Vilmar was an avid fisherman and a gentle giant.  He was the jokester of the group and the joy of his wife and daughter's lives.  He is dearly loved by many and will be forever remembered as the beacon of light he was.

Vilmar was the son of Willy Augusto Dorner and Olinda Meurer; the beloved husband of Tatiani Duarte Dorner; the dear and devoted father of Ana Dorner; the dear brother  Ilson Dorner, Edson Dorner, Valmir Dorner, Valdir Dorner and Marlinda Anacleto.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Vilmar's visitation in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark Street (Corner of Main Street) Everett, Monday, July 13, 2026 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. with a service to follow  immediately at 7 p.m. Parking with attendants on duty.
