McHugh-Mattuchio, Thomas entered into eternal rest, unexpectedly, Friday, February 6, 2026. He was only 40 years old. Born in Boston, Tom attended and graduated from Our Lady of the Assumption School, St. John's Preparatory School and Wentworth Institute. He was a managing partner of Clearwater of New England, a water purification company. Tom loved camping, riding along the Kancamagus Highway and fishing. He was an avid fan of all sports; He could recite and keep up with the best when it came to sports' statistics; And he was a sports' card aficionado, collecting cards from all sport players. Tom also enjoyed reading, the ocean, his pets and many other things. But most of all he loved his family.
Tom is survived by his beloved mother, Karen Mattuchio, father, Thomas Mattuchio and his wife, Lorna; his loving sister, Elizabeth Murray and her husband, Cody; his devoted niece Dahlia Murray, nephews, Wyatt and Tripp Murray. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Patricia Mattuchio. Tom was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Frank Mattuchio and maternal grandparents, Peter and Barbara McHugh.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Tom's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons
Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Friday, February 13, 2026 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel at St. John's Preparatory School, 72 Spring St., Danvers, MA 01923, Saturday, Feb. 14 at 11 a.m. (Everyone is kindly asked to meet at the school's chapel) Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Thomas' memory to the Gloucester Animal Shelter, 4 Paws Lane, Gloucester, MA 01930 would be sincerely appreciated. Parking with attendants on duty.
