DellaGrotte, Therese Marie Pennachio passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on September 20, 2024. Predeceased by her husband Ronald L. DellaGrotte.

Loving mother to Ronald J. DellaGrotte and his wife Denise of Salem and Mark S.  DellaGrotte and his wife Marie of Woburn. devoted grandmother to Dante and Giovanna.

Born on February 15, 1938 in Boston, MA to Vincent J. and Margaret (Marchese) Pennachio. She grew up in the North End of Boston later moving with her family to Somerville. She met Ron and they married in 1966, created a family and a home. Terry spent her years raising her boys and making her home by encouraging her boys in their interests and being their biggest supporter. When her sons were older she went back to school where she received an Associates Degree in Psychology from Bunker Hill Community College.  Terry then went to work, to share her kindness and wisdom with those she had the pleasure of meeting.

She also enjoyed  volunteering her time with individuals with disabilities.  Her favorite time was her time as Nana and caring for to her grandchildren.

Therese was the eldest sister of Ann Scioli of Stoneham and the late Vincent J.  Pennachio III of Malden  Terry was also the aunt to many nephews.

Family and Friends are invited to Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home 65 Clark Street (Corner of Main Street), EVERETT, MA on  Friday, September 27, 2024 for visitation 8:30 am - 9:30 am. Her funeral Mass will follow in St. Anthony's Church 38 Oakes Street, Everett  at 10:00 am. Services will conclude at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden, MA.
