Obituary

DEAN, Theresa A. (Gately) of Heatherwood inTewksbury, formerly of Everett, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 9, 2019 in the Lowell General Hospital/Saints Campus after a brief illness.  She was 84 years old.  Theresa was born in Boston and resided in Everett for many years and finally settled in Heatherwood these last seven years.  Theresa worked for the Everett Public School system, "Special Education Division" for several years. She also worked as a dental assistant before retirement.  Theresa loved Lake Winnipesaukee and her afternoon Bingo with her many members of her extended family.  And of course, don't forget about her beloved Boston Bruins.  She, being an avid and dedicated fan, held season tickets to games for many, many years.

Devoted daughter of the late William and Isabelle (McHugh) Gately; beloved wife of the late Elbren Dean;  Dear and devoted mother of  Susan Valente and her husband, Daniel of Tewksbury, Patricia Harvey and her husband Paul of Attleboro, step-mother of Carol Parsons, Beverly Hall and her husband, Barye of Dedham, and the late Robert Dean; Sister of the late William and Helen Gately; loving gram of Amanda Heffernan and her husband, Brett, Amy Valente, Daniel Valente, Jr. and his wife Chelsey, Stephanie Perches and her husband, Josh, Nicole Nolan and her husband, Brandon, Alexa Harvey, Tracy Liotine, Robert Dean, Edward Parsons, Jeffrey Parsons and his wife, Kelly, Kerriann Buckley and her husband, Robert, and Robert Morong and his wife, Nicole.  Theresa is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, several extended family members and many longtime friends.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Theresa's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Saturday, December 14 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. with a prayer service at 12 Noon.  Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  In lieu of flowers and because her love for children, contributions in Theresa's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, would be sincerely appreciated. Parking with attendants on duty.
