MATTUCHIO, Robert J. of Malden, entered into eternal rest at home on Saturday, April 10, 2021 after being in failing health. He was 74 years old. Born and raised in Somerville, Bobby lived in Malden for many years. He worked for many years as an accountant having graduated from Bentley College with a degree in Accounting. Dear son of the late John W. and Rena (Trombi) Mattuchio. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Ann (Fisher) for over 48 years before her passing. Dear and devoted father of John Frederick Mattuchio and his wife, Amanda of Tewksbury, Melissa DeLeire and her husband, John of Saugus, Stephanie Mattuchio and her significant other, Mel Caton of Malden, and Amy Benjamin and her husband, Scott of Burlington. Brother of John W. Mattuchio, II and his wife, Gail of Pepperell and his late twin brother Richard F. Mattuchio and his surviving wife, Linda of Kennebunkport, ME. Loving Papa of Maximus Mattuchio, Natalie Mattuchio, Bailey DeLeire, Emily DeLeire, Charlotte Caton, Amelia John Caton, Ellie Benjamin and Summer Benjamin. Bobby is also survived by his faithful and loving canine companion, Mungo. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Bobby's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Tuesday, April 13 for 5-7 p.m. His funeral will be from the funeral home on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 489 Broadway, Everett at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Robert's memory to Great Dog Rescue New England- GDRNE.com would be sincerely appreciated. Please, COVID-19 protocols must be maintained:social distancing, face coverings, etc during visitation and Church Mass.
