BANIEWICZ, Richard C. of Everett, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 2, 2017, unexpectedly, at home. He was 67 years old. Richard was born in Somerville and lived in Everett for most of his life. He worked for many years for the Massachusetts State Lottery as a lottery sales agent having retired a few short years ago. Richard was also very active in Everett politics serving currently on the Everett School Committee, holding the positions of Chairman and Vice-Chairman on different occasions. Beloved and devoted husband of the late Linda M. (Quartarone).Baniewicz for over 40 years. Son of the late Henry F. and Lillian Baniewicz. Dear and devoted brother of Henry "Rookie" Baniewicz of Lynn, Dennis and his wife, Diane Baniewicz of Yarmouth and John Baniewicz. Richie is also survived many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Richard's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 4-8 p.m. His funeral will be from the funeral home on Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett at 10 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
