Obituary

TRUFANT, Ralph Samuel, a loving man and a lifelong
resident of Everett, entered
into rest at home on Valentine's
Day. He was just a week shy of
his 94th birthday.
Ralph was born in Hudson, New
Hampshire. As a young man, he
worked with his
Dad, for Duncan Galvanizing in
Everett. Ralph was a proud veteran
of WWII having served as a crew chief
on C47 cargo planes. After the war, he
worked for some years for General Electric
Company. He was also a member
of the Carpenter's Union Local 26 for
fifty eight years. He danced his heart
away with his bride, Josephine, for
seventy years and seven months. They
loved ballroom dancing and driving
on trips together both near and far. A
loving and devoted Dad, Ralph was a
full partner in raising seven children included
among them three sets of twins.
The son of the late Ralph Samuel
Trufant, Sr. and Anna Josephine Mac-
Donald Trufant,
Ralph was the beloved husband of
the late Josephine A. (Perry) Trufant.
Loving father of Dolores Baronas and
her husband Julius, of Rockland, Christine
Trufant of Everett, the late Robert
Trufant and his late wife Paula, Richard
Trufant and his wife Marguerite of
Peabody, Joan Paradis and her husband
Charles of Arizona, Joyce Tilley and
her husband Douglas of Arizona and
Doreen Kennedy and her husband William
of Hanson. Ralph was the brother
of the late Bertha Griman and the late
Mary Parker. He is also is survived
by 11 grandchildren, and 12 great
grandchildren, many cherished nieces
and nephews, and by his beloved Prince
Edward Island cousins. Relatives and
friends are respectfully invited to attend
Ralph's visiting hours in the Cafasso &
Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner
of Main St.) EVERETT, Monday,
Feb. 19 from 4-7 p.m. His funeral will
be from the funeral home on Tuesday
at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass
in the Immaculate Conception Church,
487 Broadway, Everett at 11 a.m. Interment
withU.S. Army Military Honors
at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In
lieu of flowers, contributions in Ralph's
name to Autism Society of North
Carolina, 5121 Kingdom Way, Ste. 100,
Raleigh, NC 27607 would be sincerely
appreciated. Parking with attendants
on duty.
