Ralph DeVito, Sr., age 95, formerly of Everett and Saugus, MA passed peacefully on Tuesday, March 12th. Beloved husband of Thelma DeVito (Colameta) of 66 years. Loving father of Ralph Jr. and his wife Antonietta of Newbury, MA, Richard DeVito and his wife Roya Khosravi-Far of Jamaica Plain, MA, and Anne DeVito and her husband Jason Landry of Greenland, NH. He is survived by six brothers and sisters and two grandchildren: Nicholas and Lea DeVito.

Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and retired from the Everett Police Department after a 33-year career in law enforcement. He loved dancing and playing cards with his wife, spending time with his family, watching sports, and especially going for rides around the New Hampshire seacoast while listening to Steely Dan. Ralph was a member of the Saugus MA VFW 2346.
