DEEGAN, Patrick Joseph of Malden entered into eternal rest in the Pine Knoll Nursing Center in Lexington after being in failing health.  He was 81 years old.  Patrick was born in Revere and lived in Malden for many years. He attended Wentwoth Institute and worked for the Everett school system as an industrial engineer.

Patrick was the beloved son of the late Thomas Deegan and Elizabeth Hughes; the dear and devoted father of Patrick J. Deegan, Jr. of Malden, Bryan S. Deegan of Amesbury and Christopher M. Deegan and his wife, Gloria of Saugus; the dear brother of John Deegan of FL and the late Thomas Deegan, Elizabeth Repucci and Theresa Donahue; the loving grandfather of his 3 granddaughters, Jessica Kessloff, Jordan Kessloff and Kiara Deegan.  Patrick is also survived by hi former wife, Nancy Deegan.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Patrick's visitation in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Monday, February 2, 2026 from 8:45 a.m.-10:15 a.m. with a funeral Mass to follow in the Blessed Sacrament Church,  14 Summer St., Saugus at 11 a.m..  Burial will be at the Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Patrick's memory to the Jimmy Fund/Dana Farber, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 would be sincerely appreciated.  Parking with attendants on duty.
