Patrice Anne
Labella
Mar 17, 1959 — Oct 12, 2024
SERVICE UPDATED
In loving memory of Patrice Anne (Pelosi) LaBella of Dracut, formerly of Everett, who passed away on October 12, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 65 years old.
Patrice had a career for many years at the former New England Telephone which became known as AT&T. She resigned to become a stay-at-home Mom to raise her son Joey. When Joey went to school she worked at Walmart, and then for many years at Market Basket as a produce worker and St. Louis School as a classroom aide and a childcare worker in the after school daycare program. Despite juggling the demands of a challenging schedule with physical work in the mornings and then caring for little ones in the afternoons, Patrice rarely called out sick and never complained about the demands of such a schedule. She was truly a nurturer and genuinely cared for those little ones under her charge. Patrice loved going to the beach with friends during the summer, which was her favorite season, as well as summers in York Maine and on the lake where she lived. She supported her son Joey's love of sports and enjoyed going to his little league baseball and hockey games. Though Patrice was more of a quiet and reserved person, she loved getting together with friends for a good time, and family gatherings on the holidays.
She is predeceased by her parents, Francis and Margaret "Peg" Pelosi, and her son Anthony Joseph.
She is survived by her former spouse, Joseph LaBella of Dracut, their son Joseph Francis and his partner Melinda Coker of Tewksbury, her granddaughter Charlotte Anne, and her siblings Christine Pelosi of Dracut, Karen Soldani and husband William of York, Maine, Neil Pelosi and partner Darlingka Michalski of Loudon New Hampshire, Margaret Lee and husband Paul of Dracut. She is also survived by her nieces Gena Verholtz, Margaret E. Lee, and nephew Francis Lee, as well as a host of friends and relatives.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Patrice's visitation on Monday, October 28, 2024 in St. Rita Church, 158 Mammoth Road, Lowell, MA beginning at 10 a.m.-11 a.m. with a funeral Mass to follow at 11 a.m. A private burial will be held at a later date at the family lot at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Patrice's memory to Children's Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave. Boston, MA 02115 or to Tufts Medicine Care at Home,. 847 Rogers St., Lowell, MA 01802 would be sincerely appreciated. Arrangements by the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett
