Arango, Omaira of Westminster, formerly of Everett, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was 80 years old.  Born in Medellin, Columbia, Omaira lived in Everett for many years before transitioning  to Westminster to be with her daughter and family.  She worked in hotel service for over 30 years, retiring from the Parker House Hotel in Boston.  She was the wife of the late Israel Santamaria.  Beloved mother of Alexandra Santamaria and her husband, John Velasquez of Westminster.   Sister of Hernando Arango of Florida, Orlando Arango and Guilermo Arango of Columbia and the late Guilermo Conasteros and Maria Arango.  Dear and loving grandmother of Brianna and Dainna Velasquez and loving great-grandmother of Camila Velasquez. Omaira's funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Anthony's Church, 38 Oakes Street, Everett, Monday, June 8 at 11 a.m.  Burial will be private.
