SOLARI, Norman A., 96, retired Police Detective, EPD-A lifetime Everett resident, passed away on Sept. 1. Beloved husband of the late Katherine A. (Teehan) who shared 70 years together before her passing in May. Loving father of Norman P. Solari and Joanna of Haverhill, and Linda Foley and Mark of Acton. Son of the late Maria Zeraschi and Giovanni Solari; and brother of Marie Crouse and the late Angie, Louie, Joseph, Joseph, John, Elvira, Arthur and Robert. Cherished grandfather of Diana Chase and her husband Richard, Laura Konarski and her husband Michael, Timothy Foley and Kayla Foley. Great-grandfather of Kathryn, R.J. and Victoria Chase and Abigail Konarski. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Norman's Visiting Hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.), EVERETT, Wednesday, Sept.7, from 4-7 p.m. His Funeral will be from the funeral home Thursday at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett at 10 a.m. Interment, with U.S. Army Military Honors will be presented at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. During WW II, he served in the Army Air Corps and was honorably discharged. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Norman's memory to the charity of one's choice would be sincerely appreciated. Parking with attendants on duty.
