BERARDINO, Nicholas of Peabody, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.  He had been in failing health. Nick was 93 years old.  Born in Everett, Nicky lived in Peabody for many years. He attended Everett High School and was an all-star athlete.  He was a retired distribution manager.  Beloved husband of the late Eleanor E. (Annese) Berardino.  Dear and devoted father of Mary J. Callahan and her husband, Robert of Peabody, Joseph L. Berardino and his wife, Claire of Peabody, Jeannette A. Witkov and her husband, Brian of Peabody and Patrick J. Berardino and his wife, Catherine of Florida.  Brother of the late Dorothy Olivolo, Lucy Nazzaro and Josephine Shea.  Loving grandfather of 7 and  great-grandchildren of 7.   Due to the current restrictions placed on us because of Covid-19 services will be held privately at this time and a memorial Mass will be scheduled when it becomes possible.  Nick served our country honorably during World War II in the U.S. Navy.
