FRENI, Michael Stephen of Malden entered into rest unexpectedly, Wednesday, January 7, 2026 in the Cambridge Health Alliance-Everett Hospital.  He was 67 years old.  Born in Everett Michael was one of eighteen children .  He is the beloved and devoted son of Emma (Barile) and the late Joseph Freni; the loving brother of Stephanie Freni, Craig Freni, Michelle Marrangoni and her husband, Nick, Marc Freni and his wife, Colleen, Edward Freni, Mario Freni and his wife, Patricia, Anthony Freni and his wife, Rosa, Nicholas Freni and his wife, Michelle, Christine Freni, Ricky Freni and his wife, Jodi, David Freni, Christopher Freni and his wife, Marilisa, John Freni, Robert Freni and his wife, Donna , Joseph Freni and his wife, Donna, Maria Eaton and her husband, David and the late Ronald Freni. He is also survived by several loving and caring nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Michael's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark St.  (Corner of Main Street) EVERETT, Friday, January 9, 2026 from 4 p.m.-7 p.m.  His funeral will be from the funeral home and Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 9:45 a.m.  followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary Church,  670 Washington St., Revere, at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow at the family lot at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Michael's memory to Shriner's Hospital for Children,  51 Blossom St.,  Boston, MA 02114 would be sincerely appreciated.  Parking with attendants on duty.
