Obituary

CASTELLANO, Michael A., formerly of Hampstead, NH, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, June 8, 2022 in the Edgewood Centre in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He was 92 years old. Michael was born in Somerville and grew up in Chelsea. He served honorably in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was discharged as a Staff Sergeant. A printer by profession, Michael was retired, after many years, from Daniels Printing Company in Everett.  Beloved son of the late Salvatore and Filippa (Castellano) Castellano.  Loving husband of the late Anne (Smith).  Dear and devoted brother of Rose Cedrone, Sally Morganelli and Jeanette DiSabatino all of York, ME, William Castellano of FL and Richard Castellano of CA. Michael is also survived by stepchildren Bonnie Deaddy, Greg Smith and Gary Smith, step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Michael's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Monday, June 13 from 4-7 p.m.   His funeral will be from the funeral home on Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in Blessed Mother of the Morning Star Parish, Our Lady of Grace,  59 Nichols St., Everett-Chelsea at 10 a.m.  Interment with U.S. Army Military Honors at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Michael's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd., Ste. 300, Jacksonville, FL, 32256 would be sincerely appreciated.   Parking with attendants on duty.
