Obituary

Rojas Vasquez, Maria Esperanza of Everett, entered into eternal rest Saturday, August 8, 2026 in the Beth Israel Lahey Health in Boston after being in failing health.  She was only 53 years old.  Born in Ciudad Arce, LaLibertad, El Salvador, Maria lived in Everett for many years. She worked as a cook at the Carleton Willard Residence and Assisted Living in Bedford.

Maria was the beloved wife of Edgar Landaverde; the daughter of Rosalina Vasquez Rojas and the late Eulogio Rojas; the dear and devoted mother of Ana C. Nuila Rojas, Flormarbli Nuila Rojas and Luis Alonso Rojas; the dear sister of Julio Cesar Rojas and Pedro Rojas; the loving grandmother of Mateo Nuila, Lenny Quinteros, Davis Quinteros, Braian Vitorino and Brandon Rivas.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Maria's visiting hours Thursday, August 13, 2026 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m.in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark St. (corner of Main St.) EVERETT.  Her funeral will be from the funeral home Friday, Aug. 14, 2026 at 9 a.m.  followed by a funeral Mass in St. Anthony's Church, 38 Oakes St., Everett at 10 a.m.  Burial will be at the Glenwood Cemetery, Washington Ave., Everett.  Parking with attendants on duty.
