COSTA, Maria de Jesus Fagundes, of Malden, entered into rest on Monday, March 14, 2016 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, Massachusetts. She was 89 years old. Born in Terceira, Azores, Portugal, Maria lived in Malden for many years. Beloved wife of the late Joao Rocha Costa. Dear and devoted mother of John Costa and his wife, Rita of Peabody, Manuel Costa and his wife, Ana Maria of Billerica and Ana Maria Xavier and her husband, Leonel of Malden. Devoted sister of Tarcisio Fagundes of Canada and Alcide Fagundes of Portugal. Maria is also survived by 5 loving grandchildren, 3 great granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Maria's visiting hours and funeral from the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Wednesday, March 16 beginning at 8 a.m. followed by her funeral Mass in St. Anthony's Church, 38 Oakes St., Everett, at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in the Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
