GEORGE, Margaret M. "Peg" (Burke) of Billerica, formerly of Everett, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly, Saturday, July 26, 2025 in the Winchester Hospital.  She was 87 years old.  Peg was born in the Dorchester section of Boston and lived in Everett for many years.  She worked for the Massachusetts Teachers' Association as an administrative clerk prior to retirement.

Peg was the daughter of the late Edward  and Alice (Armington) Burke; the beloved wife of the late Robert S. George; the dear and devoted mother of Robert D. George and his wife, Paula of Wilmington; the loving grandmother of Brendon George and Caitlyn George; and the dear sister of the late Edward Burke, Robert Burke and Gerald Burke.  Peg is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Peg's visitation in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. with a funeral home service to follow at 11 a.m.  Interment will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  Contributions in Peg's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 would be sincerely appreciated.  Parking with attendants on duty.
