MONIZ, Manuel J. of Everett, entered into rest on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 82 years old. Born in Cambridge, Manny lived in Everett for many years. He was a skilled cabinet maker by trade, having worked for various furniture companies over the many years of employment. Beloved husband of Cornelia "Connie" (Paladini) for over 19 years. Dear and devoted father of Jean and Julia Moniz of Everett, Debra Michaud and her husband, George of Salem, NH, Charlene Juffre and her husband, Charles of Centerville, John Kelly and his wife, Diana of N. Reading, Lee O'Keefe and her late husband, William of Somerville, Terriann Toppi and her fiance', Michael Coogan of Everett, Ragene Buckley of Everett and the late Alan Kelly. Manuel was one of 15 siblings and the surviving siblings are Theresa Pacheco of Melrose and Laura Menezes of Windham, ME. Manuel is also the loving grandfather of Gerard and Jonathan Buckley as well as many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Manuel's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Thursday, April 6 from 5-8 p.m. His funeral will be from the funeral home on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett at 10 a.m. Interment with military honors at the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Late Army veteran. Parking with attendants on duty.
