Madan Verma, of Braintree, entered Eternal rest on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at CareOne at Weymouth after a brief illness. He was 71 years old. Madan was born and raised in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India.

Madan was an electrical engineer by trade. He proudly served 15 years in the Indian Navy, retiring before joining the Merchant Navy as an electrical officer, where he explored the world for 10 years.

He was the son of the late Srimati Sohan Devi (Mom) and the late Shri Amarnath (Dad), and the beloved husband of Sundesh Verma. Madan is survived by many dear siblings. He was the loving father of Deepak Verma and his wife Heena Verma, and Rahul Verma and his wife, Ruhita Verma. He also survived by 4 loving grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Madan's Sikh Service in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark Street (Corner of Main Street) EVERETT, On Friday, May 22, 2026 beginning at 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Services will conclude at the Woodlawn Cemetery Crematory, 302 Elm Street, Everett, MA.
