Obituary

SINGLETON, MacDaniel D. a legendary figure in New England athletics for more than 60 years, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 20, 2017 at his home in Windham, NH. He was 74 years old. Mac is survived by his longtime companion, Deborah Dancewicz; Children: Rebecca "Becky" Singleton and her husband, Crandal Hardy of Manvel, TX, Michelle Singleton-Stevenson and her husband, Kenneth Stevenson of Summit, NJ, Diana and her husband, Samuel Perkins of Bedford, Andrew, Alan and MacDaniel Singleton all of Everett; Sister, Lucille Crayton; and his grandchildren Sheleah Martin, Jaelyn Hardy, Alexis Stevenson, Marcus Stevenson and Jack Perkins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, colleagues and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Mac's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Thursday, March 2 from4-8 p.m. His Celebration of Life will be at the Everett High School, 100 Elm St., Everett, MA 02149, on Friday, March 3 with viewing at 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and the Celebration of Life to begin promptly at 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to one of them following organizations in the name of Mac Singleton: The Mac Singleton Scholarship Fund, https//www.macsingletonscholarshipfund.com/continuing-the-legacy; American Heart Association-http://honoramericanheart.org/goto/macsingleton.
