Obituary

Patricia McCauley passed away peacefully after a brief illness.

She was the only daughter of the late James J McCauley and Etta

Doherty, and was predeceased by her older bothers James P McCauley

And Roger McCauley.

Patricia was born on March 25, 1930 and raised in Everett.

She was a graduate of EHS class of 1947 and then a Graduate of

Emmanuel College class of 1951.

After College, she worked for the FBI for a short time before joining

IBM, where she spent the next 35 years until her retirement.

Never married, Patricia focused on her career breaking ground for

Women who came after her.  She was one of the first women managers

At IBM, retiring as Communications Plans and Control Manager,

National Accounts Division.  Patricia was well read and had strong

Opinions.

Patricia was always curious with a sense of adventure and traveled

Extensively.  She flew on the supersonic jet Concorde on 2 occasions.

Upon retirement, Patricia moved from NYC to NH, first to Dover, then to

Bow, where she spent the last 10 years.

Patricia leaves behind may nieces and nephews notably Carol McCauley

Of Southport, NC, Janet DiNatale (Domenic) of Myrtle Beach, SC

And James McCauley (Liz) of Newburyport, MA.

Patricia will be fondly remembered for her unique Christmas gifts.  There are no visiting hours.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Patricia's funeral in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 10 a.m.  Burial will follow in the family lot at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  Arrangements by the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, EVERETT  617.387.3120
