NAZZARO, Lucy O. (Berardino) of Everett, entered into rest on Thursday, July 14, 2016 in the Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center in Medford. She was 94 years old. Born in Everett, Lucy had been a lifelong resident, residing next door to the family house she was born in. Lucy had many occupations during her lifetime. She worked for the Eagle Shoe Company in Everett and the meat cutting room at the Star Markets, both in Everett and Malden. But her most important job description was being a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Lucy loved having her family around her. Beloved wife of the late Frank A. Nazzaro for over 65 years. Dear and devoted mother of Linda F. O'Brien and her husband, William of Melrose, the late Frank Nazzaro and his surviving wife, Linda of Everett and the late Rosemary Nazzaro. Sister of Nicholas Berardino of Peabody , Josephine Shea of NH and the late Dorothy Olivolo. Loving grandmother of Brendan O'Brien and his wife, Janelle, Jeffrey O'Brien and his wife, Jamila, Anthony Nazzaro and his partner, Lauren Pinnock, Nicholas Nazzaro and his fiance', Sabrina Carullo and Francesca Cardaropoli and her husband, Umberto and great-grandmother of Mina O'Brien and Giselle Nazzaro. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Lucy's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Monday, July 18 from 4-7 p.m. Her funeral will be from the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols St. Chelsea at 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
