Obituary

DOUCETTE, Louise A. "Butchie" of East Boston, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at age 80 years.  Born in Boston, Butchie lived in East Boston for many years.  She attained her Bachelor's Degree from Fisher College. Beloved daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Grimshaw) Doucette.  Devoted mother of Dyana J. Doucette and her fiancée,' Arthur Sordello of Saugus.  Dear sister of Marie Ciulla, Elizabeth Surrette and Joan Y. Rutledge and her husband, Leonard  all of East Boston, James Doucette and his wife, Virginia of Summerfield, FL and the late William Doucette, Theresa Dorato and Dorothy McElakney.  Butchie is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will honor Louise's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St., EAST BOSTON, Friday, Oct. 5 from 4-8 p.m. and again on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. before leaving in procession to St. Joseph-St. Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley St., East Boston at 10 a.m. funeral Mass in celebration of Louise's life.  Services will conclude with Louise being laid to rest at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
