WHITE, Louis A. of Malden, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018 in the Melrose Wakefield Hospital, after being in failing health. He was 85 years old. Born in Malden, Louis was a Malden resident for many years. He was a carpenter by trade having worked in maintenance for many years before retirement. Beloved husband of Norma J. (Bigelow) Avola. Dear and devoted father of Robert White and his wife, Diane of Peabody, Debra Collins and her husband, Michael of Maine, and Louis White and his wife, Jacqueline of Salem, NH. Louis is also survived by Norma's children, Denise and Brian Ricci of Everett, Darlene and Craig Warden of N. Andover and Rhonda and Frank Brown of Peabody and 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Louis' visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 4-8 p.m. with a wake service at 7 p.m. Interment, with Air Force military honors, at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 10:45 a.m. Late Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Louis' memory to the New England Center and Home for Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston, MA 02108 would be sincerely appreciated. Lou was a Past Commander of the American Legions Post 69, Malden, Grand Chef De Gare from 1992-1993 and past member of the Lt. Norman Prince, Drum and Bugle Corps, Melrose. Parking with attendants on duty.
