FARRELL, Laura Jean (Lane) of Seabrook, NH, formerly of Melrose,   entered into eternal rest unexpectedly, Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025 at home.  She was 61 years old. She grew up in Everett and lived in Melrose for many years before settling in Seabrook, NH.  Laura worked in the hospitality industry, working at the Mt. Hood Golf Club as their function manager for many years.  She later opened her own bed and breakfast and operated that for a period of time.

Beloved wife of the late Mark Farrell.  Dear and devoted mother of John Freni; loving daughter of Celia (Cravotta) Lane and the late Vincent Lane; devoted sister of Gregory Lane, Robert Lane and his wife, Michelle and Kenneth Lane; dear aunt of Kaila Lane and Jessica Sterling; loving and caring niece of Philip and Rosalie Cravotta and Lillian Cravotta-Crouch. Laura is also survived by many devoted cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Laura's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Friday, Dec. 26, 2025 from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. and again on Saturday at 9 a.m.  followed by a funeral home service at 10 a.m.  Interment Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.  Contributions in Laura's memory to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 would be sincerely appreciated.  Parking with attendants on duty.
