VASANTHAKUMAR, Kumaravelu of Lynn, formerly of Everett, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 16, 2024 in the North Shore Medical Center in Salem.  He was 73 years old.  Born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Kumaravelu lived in Lynn for 7 years.  He was an accountant working in the Finance/Banking industry.  Beloved husband of Kamala (Ponnuthurai) Vasanthakumar for over 43 years;  Dear and devoted father of Anthony Vasanthakumar and his wife, Lisamarie Tauro Vasanthakumar of Reading and Maryann Vasanthakumar of Maryland; Dear brother of Brindakumar Kumaravelu of England and the late Wijeyakumar Kumaravelu;  loving grandfather of Jayden Anthony ,Giarla Vasanthakumar, Emilie Rae Vasanthakumar, and Anthony Orazio Vasanthakumar and his devoted canine grandson, Stone Vasanthakumar.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Kumaravelu's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.  His funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 10 a.m.  Services will conclude with the procession to Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm Street, Everett and a Celebration of Life.
