McDermott, Kevin Dennis of Groveland, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 in the Boston Medical Center after being in failing health.  He was 72 years old. Son of the late Raymond Leo and Susan Elizabeth McDermott.  Kevin was born in New Rochelle, New York, grew up in Ossining, New York and lived in Groveland for many years.  He was a talented, professional musician by profession. He is survived by many cousins and also from his fellow members of Saint Gregory and St. Athanasius Church Community.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Kevin's visitation in the Holy Rosary Shrine, 34 Common Street., Lawrence, Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. with a funeral Mass to Follow at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be private.
