Obituary

On June 3, 2016, Kathleen (Bryan) Bonanno (1924 – 2016) of Wilmington, MA joined her beloved husband of nearly 65 years in paradise. She was 91 years old.
Kathleen was born on July 22, 1924 in Swindon, England to her parents Samuel and Esther Bryan. She grew up in Swindon, along with her siblings Kenneth, Anthony, and Esther. Her family welcomed the American troops in 1944 when they came to her town to aide in the WWII Allied efforts. It was during this time she met her future husband, William Bonanno, who was stationed nearby. They were married on February 17, 1945. Kathleen cherished her marriage to Bill Bonanno. Following the war, Kathleen sailed to New York City to continue her life in America. She and Bill remained in NYC until 1975 when they decided to move to Everett, MA, where she resided until 2011. Kathleen moved to Wilmington, MA in 2011 and lived there for the remainder of her life.
Kathleen leaves behind her loving son Kenneth, his wife Camille, and their children, Kenneth and his wife Stacy Bonanno and Jill Wile and her husband Paul, all of Wilmington, MA. Kathleen was a proud Great-Grandmother to Domenic Bonanno and Brody, Gia, and Graham Wile.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Kenneth, and her sister Esther. She is also survived by her brother Tony Bryan
of Swindon. Kathleen will be remembered as a woman with strong values, proud legacy, and meticulous attention to detail.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Kathleen's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett, Tuesday, June 7 from 5-8 p.m. Her funeral service will be in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. MA.
