Joyce Simeone, 76, a longtime resident of Everett, Massachusetts, who recently made her home in Hampstead, New Hampshire, with her loving partner, John O'Donnell, passed away on October 23, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and friends.Joyce shared more than 20 years with John, enjoying a life together filled with love, laughter, and wonderful memories. She is survived by her brother, Gerard Pelletier, and his wife, Lori; her niece, Jennifer Pelletier Brissette, and her husband, Marc; and her nephew, Mark Pelletier, and his wife, Jennifer. She was predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Geraldine Pelletier, and her sister, Jeanne Pelletier. Joyce absolutely adored her five great-nieces and great-nephews, Isabelle, Beau, Gabby, Millie, and Harry. They were her lifeline, and she loved nothing more than spoiling them, spending time with them, and being part of their lives.Joyce had a great sense of humor and a straightforward way about her. She was the one everyone turned to for advice and opinions, and she never hesitated to give them unapologetically. Her honesty, humor, and ability to always be herself were just some of the things that made her so special.Joyce loved wintering in Florida, her annual trips to Aruba, and traveling to favorite places like Hawaii. She enjoyed playing dominoes and mahjong, trying her luck at a little gambling, and making the most of every opportunity to have fun. She had a great love of music, especially Queen, and never missed a chance to proudly remind everyone that she had seen the Beatles perform when she was a teenager. She also loved concerts, theater, and spending time with the people who meant the most to her.Her friendships meant the world to her. Her closest friends called themselves the "5H," for "Five Hearts," and considered each other heart sisters. Through the years, they shared countless laughs, adventures, good times, and life's ups and downs. They were more than friends; they were family.Joyce will be deeply missed by her family, her heart sisters, and all who were lucky enough to know her. She leaves behind so many wonderful memories and plenty of stories that will continue to bring smiles and laughter for years to come.
