RACKI, Josephine S (Cafasso) of Malden, formerly of Woburn, entered into eternal rest, Sunday, March 17, 2024 in the Dexter House Healthcare in Malden.  She had been in failing health.  She was 96 years old.  Josie was born in Everett and worked in her early days for the former Sexton Can Company as a fabricator.  She was the daughter of the late Domenic and Domenica (Pope) Cafasso; beloved wife of the late Stephen Racki; dear and devoted mother of Susan Irving and her late husband, Doug of NH, Daniel Racki and his wife, Kathleen of Groveland and the late James Racki and Stephen Racki and his late wife, Patricia; sister of Marjie Barone of AZ and the late Joseph, Orlando, Godfrey and Victor Cafasso and Anna Kirk;  loving nana of Matthew Racki, Daniel B Racki, Erica Arutunian, Jimmy Racki, John Sachetta, Jamie Irving and the late Michael Racki and loving great-grandmother of 8.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Josie's funeral from the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Friday, March 22 at 8:45 a.m.  followed by her funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett at 10 a.m.

Burial will be in the family lot at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Josephine's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oakes Road, Waltham, MA 02152 would be sincerely appreciated.  Parking with attendants on duty.
