RAGO, Joseph P. of Everett, formerly of the North End of Boston, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 in the Massachusetts General Hospital.  He was 82 years old.  Born in Boston, Joe lived in Everett for many years.  He was a construction worker by trade and worked for various construction companies over the years even driving for Dover Dispatch a business that his nephew Nicholas owned.  Joe was an avid golfer and totally enjoyed watching the sport.  Joe was one of those type of people that would go out of his was way to help anyone who needed assistance.

Joe was the son of the late Nicholas Rago and Teresa Palmisano; the beloved husband of Sandra (D'Albanzio) for over 29 years; the dear and devoted father of James Rago and his wife, Erica and John Rago; dear brother of John Rago and Palmy Fiumara and the late James, Richard and Marie Rago and Patricia Mullen; loving grandfather of Evan Rago and Ashlyn Rago; and step-father of Ralph Lombardi and Mary Lombardi.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Joe's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark Street (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Friday, May 8, 2026  from 4 p.m.-7 p.m.  Parking with attedants on duty.
