Obituary

DeMARTINO, Joseph Anthony, Jr. of Saugus  entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 3, 2021 in the Tufts Medical Center after a brief illness due to COVID-19.  He was 66 years old.  Born in Malden, Joe grew up in Everett and for the last 15 years lived in Saugus.  He was a union laborer by profession.  Devoted son of the late Joseph A. and Martha J. (Luciano) DeMartino.  Beloved husband of Louise C. (Fitzpatrick) DeMartino for over 43 years.  Dear and devoted father of Erin Deleidi and her husband, James of Saugus, Joseph A. DeMartino, III and his wife, Alysia of N. Andover, Michael DeMartino and his wife, Maria of Saugus and James DeMartino and his wife, Caitlin of Wakefield.  Dear brother of Carolyn Sanford and her husband, David of Billerica.  Loving grandfather of Taylor and Sydney Deleidi, Hailey, William and Violet DeMartino, Isabella and Giovanna DeMartino and Lilah and Duke DeMartino. Also surviving are many loving cousins. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Joe's visitation in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Thursday, April 8 from 6-8 p.m.  His funeral home service will be on Friday at 10 a.m.  Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery, Saugus.  Parking with attendants on duty.  Contributions in Joe's memory to Tufts Medical Center Development Office, 800 Washington St., #231, Boston, MA 02111, ph. 617.636.7656/online/giving.tuftsmedicalcenter.org/give  would be sincerely appreciated.
