BUCCHIERE, Joseph S. of Rowley, formerly of Everett, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 8, 2024 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after a courageous and valiant battle with cancer. He was 83. Joe was born in Lynn. Son of the late Sebastian and Anna (Supino) Bucchiere. Beloved husband of Madeline (Pesce) for over 37 years. Dear and devoted father of Sharon McGovern and her husband, George of Saugus, SueEllen Corbett and her late husband, Bryan of Dover, NH, Alyson Bucchiere of Dennisport and Joseph S. Bucchiere, Jr. of Saugus. Dear brother of Candice Bucchiere and her partner, Tani Shimmin of Groveland and the late Roland Bucchiere. Loving grandfather of Caitlyn Smith and her husband, Zachary, Courtney Ianiro and her wife, Megan Ianiro, Lindsey McGovern, George McGovern, III, Meaghan Corbett and Shannon Corbett and loving great-grandfather of Charlie Smith and Finn Smith and proud expectant grandfather to a new granddaughter in June, EmersonJo Smith. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Joe's visitation in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Saturday, January 13 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. with a prayer service in the funeral home at 12: 15 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joseph's memory to Kaplan Family Hospice House, c/o Care Dimensions 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923 or Tunnels to towers, (2t2.org) would be sincerely appreciated.
