FORESTEIRE, John J. of Stoneham, formerly of Melrose and Everett, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in the Leonard Florence Center for Living in Chelsea, after being in been in failing health. He was 79 years old.  John was born in Boston and resided in Everett before moving to Melrose for more than 45 years and settling in Stoneham these last 2 years.  Beloved husband of Angela (Guiffrida) for over 49 years.  Dear and devoted father of Theresa Robinson and her husband, Jason of Wakefield.  Loving brother of Richard Foresteire and his late wife, Jeanne of Melrose, Frederick F. Foresteire and his wife, Dorothy of Everett and the late Eileen Goepner and her late husband, Rudy.  Loving brother-in-law of Maria and George Kretas of Wakefield and the late Joseph Guiffrida. Also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend John's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Tuesday, May 29 from 4-7 p.m. His funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.  Interment Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose. John was retired from the Everett Public Schools starting his career as a teacher and finishing his time in service as the Director of Title One for a combined total of over 40 years.  He was a member of the Saugus-Everett Lodge of Elks, #642, the Knights of Columbus, the Eastside AA and the YMCA and he also served with the Massachusetts Army National Guard.  Parking with attendants on duty.
