Porter, Joan A. (Sperlinga) of Beverly, formerly of Saugus, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 7, 2026 in the Beverly Hospital.  She was  83 years old.  Joan was born in Everett and retired from R & L Electronics in Everett as their administrative assistant.  Joan was a great and caring mom.  She enjoyed going to the North Shore Music Theater watching various musicals.  Joan also was porcelain doll  aficionado, having collected many over her lifetime.

Joan was the daughter of the late Joseph and Augustine (Bova) Sperlinga;  the beloved and devoted wife of the late Gerald Porter; the dear and devoted mother of Amberlynn Porter and her husband, Ryan Janedy; the dear sister of the late Joseph Sperlinga; and the loving grandmother of Waverly Janedy and Nicholas Gerald Janedy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to  attend Joan's visitation in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Saturday, June 13, 2026 beginning at 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. to be follwed by her funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 10 a.m.  Entombment at the Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.  Contributions in Joan's memory to th MSPCA, 350 So. Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 would be sincerely appreciated.
