CROWELL, Joan May (Knight) of New Hampshire and Florida, formerly of Everett, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 9, 2018 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after being in failing health. She was 87 years old. Born in Cambridge, Joan lived in Everett for most of her life before settling in later years in New Hampshire and Florida. She worked at Everett City Hall retiring as a senior clerk. Beloved wife of the late Robert Crowell. Dear and devoted mother of Linda J. Biondo and her husband, Richard of Epping, NH, Robert P. Crowell of Lantana, FL, Lloyd Crowell and his wife, Donna of Leominster, Keith A. Crowell and his wife, Maureen of Everett, William S. Crowell and his wife, Patricia of Plaistow, NH and Lois Dunkman of Everett. Sister of Richard Knight and his wife, Joyce of CA, Robert Knight and his wife, Patricia of Sun City, AZ, Pamela Knight of Danvers, Susan LaRosa and her husband, Leonard of Gloucester and the late Wallace S. Knight. Loving grandmother of Jodi Montalbano, Paul Parisi, Jr., Michael F. Parisi, Nicole O'Donnell, Robert Crowell, Catherine Wolf, Lisa Kelly, Renee Dunkman, Roger Dunkman, III, Kristina Crowell, Matthew Crowell, Colleen Elsey, William Crowell, Jr., Michele Crowell, Nicholas Crowell and Ryan Crowell. Joan is also survived by 19 loving great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Joan's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Monday, Aug. 13 from 4-8 p.m. Her funeral will be from the funeral home on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service in the First Baptist Church, 50 Church St., Everett at 10 a.m. Interment Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. Contributions in Joan's memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of NE, 101A First Ave., Waltham, MA 02451 or to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, C/O Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., B-102, Danvers, MA 01923 would be sincerely appreciated.
