SMITH, Jean (Hayden) of Malden, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. She was 79 years old.  Born in Malden, Jean lived in Everett for many years before settling in Malden.  She was a personal assistant for the former K.J. Quinn Company in Malden for many years.  Beloved daughter of the late Lawrence F. and Susan J. (Catani) Hayden. Dear and devoted mother of Ronald and Dennis McCarthy. Loving grandmother of Olivia and Veronica McCarthy.  Dear sister of Lawrence R. Hayden, Marilyn Donati and the late David B. Hayden. Jean is also survived by her nieces, Melissa and Erika Donati and several cousins and many friends.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jean's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett, Thursday, May 16 from 5-7 p.m. with a funeral home service at 6:30 p.m.  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jean's memory to the charity of one's choice would be sincerely appreciated.
