KNOX, Sr. James K. "Buster" of Malden, after a brief illness, January 9, 2017 in the Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He was 72 years old. Born in Malden, Buster was a lifelong resident. Buster attained his Associates Degree from Bentley University. He worked in sales for various transportation companies, specializing in trucking. Of recent years, Buster worked for the City of Malden as a school crossing supervisor. Beloved husband of Louise J. (Martignetti) for over 51 years. Dear son of the late Kenneth and Katherine (Dunning) Knox. Dear and devoted father of Lisa DePrato of Malden, James Knox, Jr. and his wife, Kerry of Malden and Kenneth Knox and his wife, Kerri of Groveland. Brother of Robert P. Knox, Sr. and his wife, Catherine of Malden. Loving grandfather of Stephen DePrato, Kyle, James, Dillon, Kaylee, Tara, and Tyler Knox and Samantha Martignetti. Devoted nephew of the late Mary Dunning. Buster is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Late U.S. Navy Veteran. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
