Obituary

J. Jean Squatrito (née Beeman) passed away peacefully at her home in Jupiter, Florida, on March 17, 2025.

Jean was born on September 19, 1946, in Columbus, Ohio to Edward and Delilah (née Goodsell) Beeman. She grew up on Columbus's west side and graduated from Central High School in 1964. Jean went on to become a successful businesswoman. For two decades, she assisted with the management of Patton Wallcoverings and traveled around the world to source material for the business.

Jean was also an avid golfer and animal-lover. In retirement, she donated her time and resources to no-kill TNR efforts serving south Florida's feral cat population (and adopted several beloved pets in the process).

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Angelo Squatrito, and her siblings Janette, Terry, and Jerry Beeman. Jean is survived by her son, Steve Patton, and grandchildren Katlyn, Stephen, and Kameron.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jean's funeral gathering at the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Thursday, March 27 at 8:45 a.m.  followed by a funeral Mass in St. Anthony's Church, 38 Oakes St., Everett at 10 a.m.  Entombment will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery Community Mausoleum-Versailles, Everett.

Those who share Jean's love of animals may make contributions in her memory to Furry Friends Humane, 100 Capital Street, Jupiter, Florida 33458, (561) 747-5311,  https://furryfriendsadoption.org.
