LaNasa, Helen (Maiocco) of Everett, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in the Life Care Center of Stoneham where she has resided for the last few years.  She would have attained the age of 100 in about six weeks.   Born in Boston, Helen lived in Everett for most of her life.  She was a retired salesperson for the former Gorin's Department Store which became Almy's Department Store in Everett Square before its closing.  Helen was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Maria Maiocco; the beloved wife of the late Matthew J. "Joe" LaNasa; the dear and devoted mother of Elaine LaMonica and her husband, Joseph of Everett and Judy Ann Marie Venuti and her husband, Robert of Laconia, NH; the dear sister of the late Frank and George Maiocco and Anna Orsini; the loving Nana of Joseph LaMonica and his wife, Joanne, Lisa LaMonica, Jason LaMonica and his wife, Kelli, Robert Venuti and his partner, Paula, and Mark Venuti and his wife, Rachel; and she is also survived by 11 loving great-grandchildren.  The family has chosen a private service out of respect and concern for those thy love.  Contributions in Helen's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 would be sincerely appreciated.
