LEVER, Harvey William, 65, passed away on May 23, 2016 in the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett, Massachusetts. He was born on January 31, 1951 to Warren and Margaret (Harvey) Lever.
Harvey graduated from Everett High School in 1969. After high school he joined the U. S. Air Force for four years and served in the Vietnam War where he earned numerous medals. He then went on to serve four years in the U. S. Navy. After ending his military service he attended Fisher College where he earned his Associates Degree in Business Administration.
Harvey worked many years as a baker before eventually owning his own business.
He was an avid sports fan and played on the Everett High basketball team. He loved to watch movies and read his daily newspapers.
Harvey is survived by his wife of 39 years Margaret (Denish) Lever of Everett, his daughters, Andrea and Holly Lever of Everett, his son, Harvey Lever, II of Everett, his granddaughter, Marjory Lever of Everett, and his sister, Frances Riggin of Malden. He is predeceased by both his parents, Warren and Margaret Lever, his daughter, Julie Lever, grandson, Christopher William Lever, and his brothers, Warren and James Lever.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Harvey's visitation in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett, Tuesday, May 31 from 4-6 p.m. A funeral service, with U.S. Navy Military Honors will follow immediately at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Harvey's memory to the Boston Children's Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave. Boston, MA 02115/ childrenshospital.org, would be sincerely appreciated.
