LAASER, Hans Dieter of Danvers, entered into rest at home on Thursday, February 11, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was 74 years of age. Hans was born in Wanne Eickel West Falia, West Germany and lived in Danvers for several years. Devoted son of the late Maria (Samson) and Leopold Laaser. Beloved husband of Donna M. (Sousa) Laaser. Dear father of Julie Slemmons and her husband, Rob; Darren Laaser and his wife, Gwen; John Laaser and his wife, Paula; Thomas Laaser and his wife, Rebecca and the late Angela Gelner. Loving uncle of Ann Couture of Middleton. Brother-in-law of Anthony and Carole Sousa of Everett and Linda and Harrison Potter of TX. Hans is also survived by several loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Hans's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Wednesday, Feb. 17 from 8:30-10 a.m. followed by his funeral service in the Messiah Lutheran Church, 708 Lowell St., Lynnfield at 11 a.m. Interment private. Hans was a career U.S. Army serviceman who served in both the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era.
