HAYER, Gurmeet of Somerville entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 29, 2024 in the Tufts Medical Center, Boston.  He was 58 years old. Gurmeet was born in Punjab, India and lived in Somerville for many years.  He was a professional chef and previously owned his own restaurant. Gurmeet was the dear son of Baljinder Kaur and the late Amarjeet Singh; the beloved husband of Nachhattar Kaur; the dear and devoted father of Gurleen Hayer and Ashmeen Hayer; adn the loving brother of Kawel Singh and Jatinder Kaur.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Gurmeet's Sikh services in the Cafasso & sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St., (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 9:30 a.m.- 11 a.m. with services to end at the Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm St. Everett.
