CAFASSO, Guido A. of Peabody, formerly of Canton and Venice, Florida, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in the Brooksby Village where he and his wife have been residing for many years. He was 86 years of age. Born in Canton, Massachusetts, Guido was a retired physical education teacher in the Town of Canton for many years. He was also a licensed, professional barber having owned his own shop in Canton of which he continued to work at while teaching. He was a former charter member of the Canton Town Club, the Knights of Columbus and many other organizations. Guido enjoyed golf, the New England Patriots and playing cards as well as many other sports venues. He was the beloved husband of Joyce C. (LaValle) Cafasso for over 57 years; dear and devoted father of Guido A. Cafasso and his wife, Pamela of Bow, NH, Paul Cafasso of Middleborough, Donna Connolly and her husband John of Andover and Michelle Surette and her husband, Jeff of Billerica. Brother of Josephine Kearney of Pembroke, Frances Mielbye of Weymouth, Alberta Cafasso of Mashpee, Jane Mason of Carver and the late Grace Falasca and Anthony Spada. Loving grandpa of Matthew and Pamela, Sean and Teri, Natalie, Cassandra and Cameron and great-grandpa of Weston and Anara. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
