DERIVAL-JEUNE, Gertha of Medford, entered into eternal rest in the Beth Israel Lahey Health in Burlington, on Saturday, July 11, 2026 after being in failing health.  She was 76 years old.  Born in Villard, Haiti, Gertha lived in Medford for many years.

Gertha was the daughter of the late Flobert Derival and Felicie Castin; the beloved wife of the late Prophete Jeune; the dear and devoted mother of Sulfise Cherilus, Clairenilde Louinor, Abertz Louinor, Guerdy Louinor, Erlens Louinor, Gregory Marley Jeune and Sheilie Jeune; the dear sister of Eliana Derival, Marie-Eranise Derival, Acelia Derival, Rosemond Derival and Oly Derival; the loving grandmother of Erfise, Danerfe, Laure-Isabelle, Ayiet-Morlie, Brenda, Jeremiah, Sheynayah, Sebastien, Kairee, Kaleeyah, Kaylah, Ingridia and Aria, Clarby, Erdwens, Nailah, Jaden, Heyby, Bidelson and Marc; and loving great-grandmother of Ameirah Rhea.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Gertha's visitation in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 7:30 a.m. -8:45 a.m. with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home at 9 a.m.  Burial will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.  Parking with attendants on duty.
