FITZGERALD, Gerard F. of Tewksbury, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 8, 2024 in the Woburn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after being in failing health.   He was 73 years old.  Gerard was born in Everett, attended the Everett school system and was a proud member of the Class of 1968 EHS graduating class.  He served in the Massachusetts National Guard for many years.  Jerry retired from Verizon as an I&M Technician.  He was the son of the late Chief Henry F. Fitzgerald, EPD and Hortense (Dragone) Fitzgerald; the beloved husband of Lisa A. (Kinosian) Fitzgerald for over 19 years; the step-father of Christian C. Frasca; the devoted brother of Kathleen Barrett and twin brother, Henry Fitzgerald and his late wife, Patricia; the loving uncle of Henry John Fitzgerald, Jason Fitzgerald and his wife, Laura, Julianne Fitzgerald, Leo and  Jill Barrett, Timothy and Jeanne Doyle, Christopher and Elizabeth Barrett and Kristen Barrett as well as many loving grandnephews and grandnieces.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jerry's visitation in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gerard's memory to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 would be sincerely appreciated.  Parking with attendants on duty.
